HOW ARE WE MAKING OUR EVENTS SAFE?

In response to COVID-19, the implementation of enhanced measures will provide our audience with the assurance and confidence that our events have health and safety as our number one priority.

This includes a range of measures outlined in the all secured standard framework, as well as practical changes to the delivery of conference sessions and networking events.

All attendees are requested to co-operate with our new guidelines. This is essential to run the event in a safe environment and ensure the wellbeing of all participants.

THE 'ALL SECURE STANDARD' FRAMEWORK

 

In collaboration with other global event organisers, Eduvent Conferences, one of the world’s largest events businesses, has drafted a programme of enhanced safety measures to reduce the risk caused by COVID-19.

The ‘All Secure Standard’ will allow us to demonstrate that we are focused on being able to hold and make our events safe in this new era. Measures are broken down into four key areas outlined below.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

  • Revised seating arrangements
  • Pre-packaged food and beverages

CLEANING & HYGIENE COUNTERMEASURES

  • Venue deep-cleaning
  • Increased cleaning frequency
  • Ambient environmental controls
  • Enhanced waste management
  • Compulsory stand cleaning
  • Hand sanitiser stations
  • AV equipment disinfection

PROTECT & DETECT

Guidance includes:
  • Contact tracing
  • Temperature screening
  • Enhanced medical support
  • Quarantine area
  • Emergency response plans
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Compulsory facemasks
  • Employee screening

COMMUNICATION
